Clinical Training, Supervision & Consultation

As an Approved Clinical Supervisor, I am available to provide graduate clinical training as well as clinical supervision for licensure, and clinical consultation for those already licensed seeking continued growth in their clinical competence.

As a life long learner myself and a belief in the importance of quality work in our profession, I have a passion for providing clinical training, supervision, and consultation.  Training, supervision, and consultation will include the administrative, clinical, and supportive functions of our work.  Through the use of an interpersonal approach, I aim to foster the balance of both the art and science of our work.  Believing we are the instrument of our trade, and ensuring stewardship to our profession, my approach to clinical supervision focuses on SELF as professional:

S – scaffolding the learning environment

E – elevating clinical competence and ethical practice

L – leveraging the interpersonal relationship through feedback

F – fostering socio-cultural identity awareness and humility

Since 2009, I have provided graduate training, individual, and group supervision.  I was the Director & Training Coordinator at the Fort Lewis College Counseling Center, I currently provide training in supervision for the NASW Colorado Chapter, have completed the Advanced Clinical Supervision Certificate Program through Smith College’s School of Social Work, and have completed over 100 hours of group leadership training through the Matrix Leadership Institute in Boulder, CO.

If you are interested in training, supervision, or consultation, please email amie@fourcornerscounseling.com to schedule a free consultation.
