Feed the Therapist Retreats

Therapist Retreats for Clinicians to Connect, Cultivate & Create

Healing professionals, it’s time to tend to the part of your professional life that often gets pushed aside—the why and for what behind your work. Feed the Therapist Retreats are your opportunity to step back, reconnect with your values, align your vision, and intentionally shape a sustainable and nourishing professional path.

Designed by me and my partners—Kim Johancen, Kristin Spiegel, and Jen Thorstad—these retreats are professional development experiences for clinicians and therapists like you. We understand how easy it is to stay in constant service to others without the proper space to reflect, imagine, and plan. Feed the Therapist Retreats offer intentional time away from daily demands to reconnect with what matters most and translate that clarity into building a practice that truly supports your life.

Design a Business That Supports the Life You Want to Live

To be clear, this retreat is not therapy or clinical supervision.

It is a professional development retreat for mental health professionals focused on helping you thoughtfully shape the structures that support your work, so your career can evolve in ways that honor both your passion and your capacity.

We have created a grounded, transformative environment that supports reflection, clarity, and intentional forward movement. Through group synergy, guided reflection, and dedicated work time, you will move beyond the daily grind to focus on the “how” and “why” of your work: practice direction, decision-making, and long-term sustainability. This is your opportunity to clarify your values and how they show in your therapy practice and clinical work.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Clarity & Direction: A clearer sense of where you are in your career, where you want to go, and what truly matters to you in your work.
  • Intentional Focus: Stop working in your business for a weekend and start working on it.
  • Community & Connection: Collaborative conversation and work time with colleagues who understand the realities of this profession.
  • Renewal: While the focus is professional, the environment is restorative. Enjoy meaningful connection and laughter in a beautiful setting, and return to your therapy practice refreshed.
